Velure is an independent weekend guide for Lubbock. It is not affiliated with Texas Tech University. This page says what the founding list collects and what happens to it.
What we collect
When you join the list we save what you enter in the form: your first name, email, age group (18–20 or 21+), music preference and preferred night. If you add them, we also save your Instagram handle and a referral code. We record whether you asked to be a founding connector, the time you signed up and agreed to emails, and a short label for how you reached the site, such as a link from an Instagram story or a Night Match result.
What we don’t collect
We don’t ask for your address, phone number, ID or payment details. Velure doesn’t run advertising trackers or analytics on this site. The companies that host the site keep standard technical logs to run and protect it.
Blocking automated sign-ups
To stop bots from flooding the form, we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your network address together with a count of recent sign-up attempts. We never store the address itself. These counters are kept briefly, typically a couple of hours, and then deleted automatically.
How we use it
To send you weekend options that fit what you chose once email picks start, to learn which nights and sounds people want, and to credit referrals. If you asked to be a founding connector, we’ll reach out about your link.
Who sees it
Only Velure. We don’t sell, rent or trade your information. It is stored in a database run by our website host.
Emails
We haven’t started sending email yet. When we do, you’ll only get it if you ticked the consent box, we’ll send it by hand with no instant or automatic alerts, and every email will say how to stop. You can also email caldexsystems@gmail.com with the word “unsubscribe” at any time.
See, change or delete your information
Email caldexsystems@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. We’ll show you what we have, correct it or delete it, within 30 days.
Age
The list is for people 18 and older. If you’re under 18, please don’t sign up.
Our Instagram links open Instagram, which has its own privacy policy. The group chat runs on Instagram, and what you post there is visible to its members.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
